The NFL has released a schedule of 2021, and the season will open on Thursday September 9.
There is no doubt that Thursday night will be part of the opener ratings, as the Dallas Cowboys will face defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
There are other Week 1 highlights as well. AFC champions Kansas City Chiefs face the Cleveland Browns in a remake of last year’s AFC Divisional Round Thriller. Green Bay opens in New Orleans in Fox’s “America’s Game of the Week”, and the big question is whether Aaron Rodger will play for the Packers in that opener.
