An official said on Sunday that the White House has begun talks with Iran about detaining American citizens.
“We have begun talks with the Iranians on this issue,” National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said on CBS’s “Face the Nation”,
He sentenced dozens of Americans to imprisonment in the country in recent years, including many Americans, a “complete and utter displeasure” and said it was the Biden administration’s “important priority to get back home safely” ” was.
“We will not accept a long-term proposal where they continue to hold Americans unjustly and illegally,” Sullivan said.

“Iran has not responded yet,” Sullivan said.
Iran’s foreign ministry said on Sunday that the US cannot re-implement the nuclear deal unless it takes economic penalties. Washington said that Tehran should take the first step to comply with the agreement and limit nuclear activities.
