A man stabbed a woman in the back when she rejected his advances at a Bronx subway station Wednesday night, cops said.

The 30-year-old victim was speaking with her 28-year-old sister just before 9 p.m. at the Jackson Avenue station, along the 2 and 5 lines, when a man interjected and tried to hit on the pair — but they rebuffed him, police said.

The man then got into a physical fight with the sisters, cops said.

During the fight, he allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the older woman in the back, causing a wound that was about 2 to 3 inches deep.

The woman was taken to Lincoln Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury.

Police patrol the scene where the stabbing occurred.
