Bradley Cooper calls ex Irina Shayk’s support ‘very special’

Bradley Cooper shared how grateful he is for his friendly relationship with Irina Shayk amid rumors that the exes are getting back together.

The Oscar nominee, 46, attended the premiere of his movie “Nightmare Alley” in New York City on Wednesday night with the Russian model, 35, by his side.

“It’s very special,” Cooper told “Entertainment Tonight” of having Shayk accompany him while celebrating the psychological thriller’s release.

Although they both attended the event, the pair did not pose for photos together on the red carpet.

Cooper and Shayk sparked reconciliation rumors in mid-November when they were spotted walking with their arms linked. They then spent Thanksgiving together, two and a half years after their breakup.

A source exclusively told Page Six that the former Sports Illustrated stunner was seen leaving her Manhattan apartment on Turkey Day to head over to the actor’s place in the city, where he was spending the holiday with their 4-year-old daughter, Lea.

However, we were told Shayk did not spend the night, as she was seen returning to Cooper’s pad the next day to pick up their little girl.

And the family fun didn’t stop there. They got together again on Saturday to see “The Nutcracker” with Anne Hathaway, her husband, Adam Schulman, and one of their sons.

“They are a very close family. But they are not officially back together,” an insider recently told the Daily Mail, while a source told Page Six that the exes’ daughter is their “No. 1 focus.”

Shayk discussed parenting her and Cooper’s child in a recent interview with Elle, saying, “I never understood the term co-parenting. When I’m with my daughter, I’m 100 percent a mother, and when she’s with her dad, he’s 100 percent her dad. Co-parenting is parenting.”

The catwalker was most recently romantically linked to Kanye West after they were spotted together in France in June, but their fling ended less than a month later with sources telling us, “She likes him as a friend but doesn’t want a relationship with him.”

Meanwhile, Cooper sparked dating rumors with his “A Star Is Born” co-star Lady Gaga in 2019, but they both denied any romantic involvement.

Cooper and Shayk split in 2019 after Page Six reported that their relationship was hanging on by a thread. Alas, it seems the pair get along much better as exes.
