Chrissy Teigen is heading into the new year with new brows.
A month after revealing she’d undergone eyebrow transplant surgery, the 36-year-old cookbook author showed off the results with a video of her “new brow hairs” growing in.
She smiled at the camera in a short clip on Instagram Wednesday, captioned “welcome, new brow hairs!!!!”
Many commenters were more interested in her glowing, seemingly bare-faced look, however, including Octavia Spencer, who wrote, “We need the details on that dewy skin! Spill them all.”
Teigen first debuted her new brows in November, sharing that she’d gone to Dr. Jason Diamond and Dr. Jason Champagne for procedure — which involves transplanting “hairs from the back of your head” to create fuller eyebrows.
“I never wear makeup if I can avoid it so I was so excited for this eyebrow transplant surgery,” she wrote in an Instagram Story at the time, before warning teens against over-plucking their eyebrows.
Shortly after she showed off the transformation, Teigen clapped back at social media critics dubbing the decision “out of touch with reality.”
“WHY are peoples so f—king riled up over any little thing I do? You’re gonna give yourselves a heart attack,” she wrote in another Instagram Story, which included a screenshot of a Daily Mail article about the controversy.
The eyebrow transplant isn’t the first time Teigen has shared the results of her cosmetic procedures. She visited the same plastic surgeon to have fat removed from her cheeks in September, writing on Instagram at the time, “no shame in my dr diamond game.”
In August 2019, she also shared a video getting Botox injected in her armpits, a process often used to prevent sweating.
