Falcons kicker just wants his cleats back after Jeep stolen

Atlanta Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo had his Jeep stolen from him on Sunday. However, the perp can keep it under one condition: they bring back his cleats.

“Mfs stole my Jeep smh. Can you just bring my cleats back tho.” Koo captioned an Instagram story showing the empty parking spot where his now-missing car was.

“I won’t even be mad bro just bring all my cleats back so I can go kick,” he added in a separate post on his story.

The Pro Bowl kicker even reached out to the Atlanta Scoop, an Instagram account that keeps locals up to date on events in the city. The page has been known to help followers track down car thieves. He provided them with the car’s license plate number: RZA4953.

Unfortunately for Koo, stolen cars aren’t found too often in Atlanta. According to Fox 5 News Atlanta, there was a 40 percent increase in car thefts over the past year. Only one in five cars are found and returned to their original owner.

Last year, Koo had a historic season. He led the league in field goals, going 37-for-39 (94.9%), and went 33-for-36 (91.7%) on extra-point attempts. In addition, he managed to surpass Matt Bryant for the franchise record in field goals in a single season, and became the first player in Falcons history to make at least eight field goal attempts of 50-plus yards without a miss.

With Falcons training camp around the corner, Koo needs to find a new pair of cleats to keep practicing his craft. He’ll also need a new form of transportation, unless the thief decides they had a change of heart.
