Ranveer Singh is joining forces with director S Shankar for the Bollywood remake of filmmaker’s 2005 Tamil blockbuster Anniyan that featured Vikram as the lead. Ranveer Singh stepping in the shoes of acting powerhouse Chiyaan Vikram is an exciting factor to catch up.

Ranveer Singh is all set to play former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev in Kabir Khan’s 83  while his lady love Deepika Padukone will be seen playing the role of his onscreen wife Romi Dev. The film also stars Harrdy Sandhu, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Amrita Puri, Jiiva, Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi, Sahil Khattar and Chirag Patil in major roles. Makers will opt for a theatrical release however no official date has been decided yet.

Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi has put its release date on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic and fans can’t wait to see Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif film hitting the screen. Ranveer Singh also has a cameo in the film as he will be reprising the role of Bhalerao Sangram from Simmba and will be seen alongside Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn in this action cop-drama.

Ranveer Singh is collaborating once again with his Simmba director Rohit Shetty for an upcoming period comedy titled Cirkus. The film went on floors in November 2020. Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Varun Sharma, and Johny Lever in pivitol roles.

Ranveer Singh is all set to play a Gujarati guy in the upcoming social comedy Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Produced by Maneesh Sharma, the film is being directed by debutant writer-director Divyang Thakka. Ranveer Singh’s look in Jayeshbhai Jordaaras a skinny commoner moustache man was praised by the netizens. The film was set for October 2020 release but got postponed due to COVID-19 Pandemic.
