Harry Hamlin appears to be relieved that his 20-year-old daughter, Amelia Gray Hamlin, broke up with Scott Disick, 38.
“Amelia’s doing great, she’s living in New York, and she’s having the time of her life solo,” Hamlin said on Tuesday’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.” “I have no idea what exactly happened there, I’m just glad that she is solo, put it that way.”
The model made headlines when she split from Disick in September after less than a year of dating.
The dad of two recently told Page Six that he thinks both his daughters, Amelia and 23-year-old Delilah Belle Hamlin — whom he shares with Lisa Rinna — have “done an extraordinary job of keeping it together.”
“They’ve dealt with the things that all kids have dealt with,” said the actor, 70. “Especially in this day and age, when you’ve got the cellphone, the internet, social media, and all eyes on you.”
Rinna, 58, also addressed her daughter’s public breakup on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” reunion in late October.
“There’s never one reason why I think people split up, you know,” she told host Andy Cohen, adding, “Now’s the time to heal, now’s the time for everyone to heal.”
Rinna also claimed that the breakup was not a mutual decision, bluntly saying, “She made [the decision] on her own.”
The “Days Of Our Lives” star confessed that Disick’s leaked DM about his ex and co-parent Kourtney Kardashian’s romance with Travis Barker played a role in the split.
“Well, I don’t think that was helpful,” she candidly told Cohen.
Disick notoriously made headlines when he allegedly messaged another of Kardashian’s exes, Younes Bendjima, in August to slam her PDA with her now-fiancé, and Bendjima publicly posted the DM on his Instagram Story.
The reality star previously dated Kardashian from 2005 to 2015, and they share three children: Mason, 11, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 6.
