Cops have arrested a Brooklyn gunman nearly a year after he fatally shot a man while also hitting a passer-by with a stray bullet, leaving him paralyzed, authorities said.

Jadis Saint Victor, 20, had opened fire at Woodruff Avenue and Ocean Avenue just south of Prospect Park around 3:30 p.m. Aug. 19, 2020, striking his target, 18-year-old Malcolm Amede, in the chest and arms, police said.

Amede was rushed to the Kings County Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead. It’s not clear why Victor was allegedly aiming for him.

Meanwhile, an errant bullet also hit bystander Sam Metcalfe, 33, who was walking with his wife to pick up toothpaste at the time, cops said. Metcalfe still can’t walk from his spinal injury.

Shocking surveillance footage captured the gunman firing off roughly six rounds from the driver’s seat of a gray BMW SUV at the time.

Saint Victor was picked up July 12 in Indiana and transported Thursday back to Brooklyn, where he was charged with murder, two counts of assault and possession of a loaded firearm, police said.

Metcalfe’s sister-in-law, Krysta Zagorski, wrote about her relative’s trauma from the shooting on a GoFundMe page set up for his medical expenses.

“Almost immediately, Sam couldn’t feel his legs,” she said of the incident. “We now know that the bullet hit his kidney and stopped when it hit his spine.

“They removed his kidney but his condition is too fragile to attempt to remove the bullet just yet. Doctors are still trying to stop the bleeding and Sam will likely never walk again.”

Nearly four months after the incident, Metcalfe posted a video to the fundraising page showing himself doing a pull-up as he sat in a wheelchair.

“I still have a long way to go as my injury heals but I am out of the woods,” he wrote. “I have had some muscle function return in my left leg! I cannot move it against gravity or stand at all yet but it is a positive sign that I have some functional return this early.

“Attached is a video of me being able to do a pull up with 28 extra pounds of extra wheelchair weight- a mark of advancement in my healing and upper body strength I feel really good about,” he added.
