Welcome to the 15th annual edition of Overrated and Over-hated!
The mission here, as always, is less to offer thumbs-up or thumbs-down verdicts on people, actions and ideas in the baseball world (and a few non-baseball issues) and more to push back at established narratives. To encourage a collective calming down, if you will. An overrated player might be perfectly good, just not as great as advertised. And vice versa for the over-hated.
Happy and healthy holidays and new year to all. Same time next Overrated and Over-hated?
