It seems no one was ready for Braxton Berrios’ monster kickoff return, including his girlfriend, Sophia Culpo.
The Jets receiver, 26, started Sunday’s game against the Eagles with a 79-yard kickoff return at MetLife Stadium, where Culpo saw him in action.
“I wasn’t prepared for this,” the 25-year-old model said in a video on her Instagram Story, which she captioned, “Yeah B!”
Berrios’ run put the Jets in prime territory to score as quarterback Zach Wilson connected with receiver Elijah Moore in the end zone to give New York the early lead.
The Eagles, who are without starting quarterback Jalen Hurts, were on their way to beating the Jets.
So far this season, Berrios has 25 receptions for 240 yards and one touchdown. This is his third year in New York.
This season, however, Berrios’ biggest fan has been a game-day staple. Last month, Culpo — the younger sister of model and former Miss Universe, Olivia Culpo — bundled up as she watched Berrios and the Jets take on the Dolphins in Week 11.
“Love me a man with a fanny pack,” Culpo captioned one Instagram Story of Berrios warming up on the field.
The Jets ultimately lost to the Dolphins, 24-7.
