‘Taxi King’ Gene Freidman’s ex is a squatter in NYC: lawsuit

The baby mama of disgraced “taxi king” Gene Freidman is squatting in the Trump World Tower apartment of a former Deutsche Bank exec, according to court papers.

Inessa Boltyanskaya, an art curator and advisor who shares a 14-year-old son with Freidman, signed a one-year lease for the unit in November 2019, agreeing to pay $5,000 in monthly rent — but owes $40,250 and stopped paying altogether in March, the apartment’s owners claim.

Boltyanskaya “is squatting in the unit and freeloading,” Jerry Rotonda and his wife, Edna Abad, allege in their Manhattan Supreme Court papers.

When Boltyanskaya was paying, she allegedly refused to fork over the full rent, “demanding and insisting” she pay just $3,250 a month instead, Rotonda and Abad charge.

Rotonda and Abad say they “reserve the right to evict Ms. Boltyanskaya when permitted,” according to the legal papers.

Boltyanskaya did not return a message seeking comment.

Freidman, who was once jailed for failing to pay Boltyanskaya $100,000 in child support, was stripped of 800 taxi medallions in 2017 and arrested for tax fraud. He’s also New York State’s top tax deadbeat, owing $18.7 million, records show.
