Tiger Woods hospitalized after California’s severe accident

Authorities said Tiger Woods was injured in a serious car accident in California on Tuesday.

The 45-year-old golf legend was to be rescued from his damaged car following a single-vehicle rollover accident in Rancho Palos Verids, Los Angeles County.

The LA County Sheriff Department confirmed the crash, which occurred at Hawthorne Boulevard and Blackhorse Road at 7:12 am.

“The driver and sole occupant were identified as PGA golfer, Aldrick ‘Tiger’ Woods,” the statement said. “Mr. C. Woods was pulled from the wreckage with ‘jaws of life’ by Los Angeles County firefighters and paramedics, then transported by ambulance to a local hospital for his injuries.”
