Yankees superstar Aaron Judge and longtime love Samantha Bracksieck tied the knot over the weekend in Hawaii, according to photographs published Sunday by the Daily Mail.
The couple was seen sharing a kiss during the intimate outdoor ceremony, which is said to have taken place at the Montage Kapalua Bay resort, per the outlet.
Rumors of a potential wedding began swirling this week as guests shared images from Hawaii on their social media accounts, per sports site Awesemo.com.
Judge, 29, and Bracksieck, who originally dated in high school, have long been private about their relationship. In June, however, Bracksieck was photographed wearing a diamond ring, fueling engagement speculation.
Over the summer, Bracksieck celebrated her 28th birthday with the significant others of fellow Yankees players. In videos that surfaced online, the birthday girl is seen popping a bottle of champagne on a party bus.
A picture surfaced on social media of Yankees teammates Gary Sanchez, Luis Cessa and Gleyber Torres in Hawaii, where they presumably attended Judge’s wedding.
Although Judge is wrapping up 2021 with a picturesque day that he and Bracksieck will forever remember, the Yankees themselves ended the season in not-so memorable fashion. In October, they lost to the Rex Sox in the AL wild-card game.
Judge, meanwhile, has expressed that being a Yankee for life “would be a wish of mine.” It remains to be seen when — or if — that dream will come true. He could be come an unrestricted free agent after the 2022 season if he and the Yankees do not agree on a contract extension.
For now, the only thing that’s likely at the top of Judge’s mind is enjoying his honeymoon with his new bride.
