Zack Snyder Debuts New Look At Jared Leto’s Joker

Justice League director Zack Snyder has shared a brand new look at Jared Leto’s Joker.

One of the biggest surprises to come out of Zack Snyder’s Justice League was brand new footage of Jared Leto’s Joker. Appearing during the film’s closing moments during the Knightmare sequence, the scene showed Joker and Batman, alongside the rest of the group working together to stop the now nefarious Superman. The scene was widely praised for not only expanding upon Zack Snyder’s original plans for the DC Extended Universe but also providing fans with new Joker footage.

Jared Leto’s Clown Prince of Crime originally debuted in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, with reception overall mixed. The largest complaint to come out of the DC film was that the Oscar-winning actor didn’t have much to do, a sentiment that the star has touched up numerous times. It’s unclear if Leto will return as the Joker in any future DCEU films, but director Zack Snyder has cryptically shared a brand new look at the character on VERO. The new snap shows Joker rocking the same look from the ending of Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

Zack Snyder’s cryptic posting comes at a time where Joker talk is at a fever high pitch. There’s been consistent speculation that Barry Keoghan is set to take on the role for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman,

though nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

Here is the synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Justice League:

“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”

The Snyder Cut stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J.K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Both versions of Justice League are available on HBO Max. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the future of the DC Extended Universe as we learn it and be sure to subscribe to Reporter Door’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
