Golf world reaction to Tiger Woods accident: ‘Sick my stomach’

Golf World is expressing concern for Tiger Woods, who had to be removed from his SUV with a jaw of life on Tuesday morning after a single-car accident in Los Angeles.

According to agent Mark Steinberg, the PGA legend underwent surgery to correct several leg injuries.

“I am sick of my stomach. It hurts to see my closest friends in an accident, ā€¯Justin Thomas said Tuesday while preparing for the WGC-Workday Championship at the concession in Bradenton, Florida. “Man, I hope she’s fine. All I care about is her children. I’m sure they’re struggling.”

Jack Nicklaus wrote on Twitter, “Barbara and I have just heard about Tiger’s accident, and like everyone else, we are deeply concerned. We would like to offer our heartfelt support and prayers to him during this difficult time. Please join us in wishing Tiger a successful surgery and best wishes for a full recovery. “

The Cameron Champion said he saw images of Woods’ flip car as he was coming off the course.

“You should be taken out with the jaws of life. It’s certainly not good conditions,” Champion said. “Hopefully, everything goes well with him and he can recover completely.”

Ian Poulter also tweeted his support for the 15-time major winner.

“Thoughts are involved with @TigerWoods and others,” Poulter wrote. “Wish to get well soon and I hope the injuries don’t get worse.”
