How to watch Team USA’s men’s basketball comeback

[ad_1]

The fifth day of the Tokyo Olympics is scheduled to be one full of fan-favorite and first-time events, including surfing.

Wednesday will see whether Kevin Durant and the US men’s basketball team will be able to turn their previous poor performances around against Iran. In addition, second-time Olympian Caeleb Dressel will once again take to the pool after a 4x100m freestyle relay gold medal win.

Because of the 13-hour time difference, broadcasts will be a mix of live events and recordings. Fans can also stream the Olympics on Peacock, NBCOlympics.com and on the NBC Sports App.

Here are the Olympic events for Wednesday, July 28, and where you can watch them.

Men’s Basketball – US vs. Iran: The US men’s basketball team’s performance in Tokyo has been not up to the caliber of play expected from a squad of NBA superstars. After an 89-79 loss to France — which snapped a winning streak that stretched back to 2004 — the matchup against Iran may be the Americans’ chance to turn it around and reach the medal round.
